Exodus by Brian Wildsmith is a faithful retelling of the story of Israel’s exodus from Egypt, gently emphasizing the theme of liberation. It is beautifully illustrated in a style reminiscent of classical Egyptian painting. This is by far my favorite children’s version of the exodus.
